Founded in Sweden, TexCon has grown from a local supplier into a global leader in high-quality trims and textile accessories. With over 35 years of experience, we are dedicated to providing trims that meet the diverse needs of our clients worldwide. What began as a small operation has expanded into an international network with offices and production facilities in Portugal, Sweden, and Hong Kong, allowing us to support clients across multiple continents.
In 2025, Rudholm Group acquired TexCon to strengthen the product portfolio and integrate digital solutions that are designed to be future proof.

Our story
1990
The Foundation of TexCon in Lisbon
TexCon was founded by Peter Köster, who established the company’s first office in Lisbon, Portugal. The office became a cornerstone for the business and remains in the same location today, at Parque Suecia. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey in the textile industry
1995
Expansion to Asia with a Hong Kong Office
Five years after its inception, TexCon expanded to Asia by opening an office in Hong Kong. The office, which also serves as a warehouse, was strategically established to streamline collaboration with Asian customers and suppliers. This move significantly enhanced the company’s global presence.
2000
Exclusive Distributor of ITW Products
In the year 2000, TexCon became Portugal's first and only nominated distributor of ITW products. This partnership positioned the company as a key supplier of plastic accessories in Portugal.
2005
Strengthening Nordic Presence with a Swedish Office
Continuing its growth, TexCon established an office in Sweden in 2005. This move was a natural progression for the company, as founder Peter Köster leveraged his Swedish roots to strengthen TexCon's presence in the Nordic market.
2020
Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence
TexCon celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2020. This milestone underscored the company’s steady growth and enduring impact in the textile industry.
2025
Merger & Digital Transformation
To adapt to the digital era, TexCon has joined Rudholm Group, a global manufacturer of labeling, packaging, and trims for the apparel and footwear industry. This merger equips TexCon with advanced tools to expand our reach and sales worldwide while maintaining a strong foundation.
